Doug Feco shared a photo of the Workforce Education Coalition and some of the students who received laptops. Our club was responsible for donating 47 laptops to students who couldn't afford them. He is looking for another source of computers so we can continue this.
If you have an idea about a new project, Doug encouraged us "to go for it"!
Our club received Certificates of Recognition from the City of Simi Valley for Service to Youth in support of the Youth Advisory Board and from Dante Acosta as a thank you for the smoke alarm installation.
Rat Fink
Peter Cicciari was our Rat Fink this morning and talked about "unapproved" club programs form the year.
Bob Donnelly shared his Rotary Moment was during the smoke alarm installation when a 94 year old woman asked them if they could also change a light bulb for her. He said it's the little things that make the Rotary Moments.
Shine the Light on You
Kaily Wagner received the award this morning for her work on Cajun this year.
Jim Lowry announced that past scrapbooks have been digitized and are available for viewing on our Club website. Look under "about us", then "history", then scroll down to all 25 scrapbooks in PDF format.
Peace Building Committee
Michelle Foster said to let he know if you would like to be a part of the Peace Committee next year.
